    In the corporate sector, Ms. Yeasmin serves as President and Director of RadScribe BD Ltd., an AI-driven medical reporting company operating in the U.S. and Bangladesh. She plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction, driving AI-powered innovation, and expanding its global presence. Her expertise in business development has positioned RadScribe BD as a leader in healthcare technology, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in medical documentation.   • Naiyer Imam. MD, Co-Founder

    Dr. Naiyer Imam is the co-founder of the Resilience USA Foundation. He serves as the principal owner/chairman of numerous healthcare facilities and services and is dedicated to making positive changes in the healthcare sector across various states in the USA and different countries worldwide. Dr. Imam has initiated free 45-day AI training programs in three different countries, providing participants with the opportunity to take a certification exam and secure employment with his company, RadScribe. This initiative has particularly benefited many women, helping them reenter the workforce, regain confidence, and feel empowered. Dr. Imam is committed to treating everyone equally, regardless of gender, nationality, color, or religion.

    Dr. Imam is a kind, creative, and supportive innovator in the healthcare sector. As the owner of e-Rad, he has pioneered advancements in teleradiology and telemedicine. Dr. Imam served as the Chairman and Founder of American Teleradiology, which later merged with Nighthawk and went public in 2006 (NSDQ: NHWK). He holds a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science and an MD, both from Brown University and an MS in Biostatistics from Harvard University.

    Dr. Imam continues to play a crucial role in refining the radiology workflow solutions he developed and implemented over a decade ago. As a business entrepreneur, he possesses extensive knowledge in business development, relationship management, mergers, acquisitions, and startups.

    Dr. Imam is also the founder of House Calls of D.C., a subsidiary of First Medicine, and Advanced Medical Initiatives. These ventures are designed to enhance operational efficiencies, providing patients with better access to healthcare options in the markets they serve.

  • Mohammed Sarwar, President & Director of Operations

    Dr. Mohammed Sarwar is a distinguished leader in enterprise leadership, digital transformation, and academic research, currently serving as President & Director of Operations at Resilience USA Foundation. Since 2012, he has worked closely with Ms. Syeda Arufa Yeasmin to expand the foundation’s impact, implementing innovative programs that address critical challenges in education, healthcare accessibility, and disaster relief. His expertise in leadership and digital transformation has strengthened the organization’s ability to scale initiatives while ensuring long-term sustainability.

    In addition to his leadership in the non-profit sector, Dr. Sarwar holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from York College, CUNY, a Master of Science in Information Systems, and a Master of Library and Information Studies from Queens College, CUNY. He also earned a distinguished MBA from the Murray Koppelman School of Business, Brooklyn College, CUNY, accredited by AACSB. His academic background in strategic management, financial planning, and corporate governance seamlessly integrates into his leadership approach.

  • Raymond S. Solga, Program Teaching and Research Director

     Prof. Raymond S. Solga is a distinguished academic and professional leader whose career blends scholarly expertise with a commitment to community empowerment. With extensive experience in teaching, research, and program development, Prof. Solga brings innovative strategies to his role as Program Teaching and Research Director at Resilience USA Foundation Inc.

    Prof. Solga holds an MLS in Library Science and an MA in History from Queens College, CUNY, as well as a BA in Comparative Humanities from SUNY Old Westbury. His academic background in library science, humanities, and history, paired with professional experience, enables him to design impactful educational and social initiatives.

    At Resilience USA Foundation, Prof. Solga plays a key role in advancing the organization’s mission. He focuses on mental health awareness, citizenship education for immigrants, and community wellness, tailoring programs to diverse needs and ensuring optimal learning outcomes.   • Mr. Fakhrul Alam, Chief Advisor

    Mr. Fakhrul Alam, with over three decades of experience in program development, strategic partnerships, and organizational sustainability, has recently been joined as the Chief Advisor to Resilience USA Foundation Inc. It is with great relish that he is eager to utilize his extensive expertise to advance the mission of the Resilience USA foundation, especially in the areas of mental health, resilience, empowerment, and sustainability.

    Mr. Alam has devoted his entire career to community empowerment and community advocacy, including founding the Bangladesh-America Forum for Democracy and Development in order to promote democratic values as well as social justice in both the United States and Bangladesh. Through his work, he always strives to find practical, sustainable ways to improve the lives of others.

    Due to his deep commitment to the welfare causes, together with his experience in building relationships and navigating complex organizational landscapes, Mr. Alam is ideally suited to make a significant impact on Resilience USA Foundation Inc., as well as helping drive positive global change.

  • Gregory Masaitis, Distinguished Board Member

    Gregory Masaitis is a highly accomplished leader and philanthropist whose professional achievements and unwavering dedication to community betterment make him an invaluable member of the Resilience USA Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors. As the Operating Principal, Owner, and Founder of The Masaitis Team at Keller Williams Realty, Mr. Masaitis has spent over a decade building a legacy of excellence in real estate, combining business acumen with a heartfelt commitment to client success and community impact.

    In addition to his leadership at Masaitis Team Inc., Mr. Masaitis and his wife, Kristen, are highly accomplished real estate investors. Together, they oversee an extensive rental portfolio spanning multiple states, undertake fix-and-flip projects, and pursue strategic land acquisitions. Their expertise also includes subdividing and selling raw land, along with providing title insurance and mortgage services.   • Syed Sifat, Board Member

    Mr. Syed Sifat is a dedicated and forward-thinking Information Technology professional, currently serving as an Information Technology Administrative and Deployment Engineer at Richard Fleischman & Associates, Inc. (RFA)—a distinguished managed service provider based in New York City. In his role, Mr. Sifat oversees the deployment, administration, and optimization of enterprise-level IT infrastructures, supporting a client network of over 800 financial services firms with precision and excellence.

    Mr. Sifat holds a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Technology and Human Resource Management, earned from York College, City University of New York (CUNY). This unique academic combination has equipped him with both the technical acumen to manage complex IT systems and the interpersonal insight to lead teams and foster collaborative work environments. His academic foundation spans network architecture, systems integration, organizational dynamics, and strategic communication.

  • Fraz S. Siddiqui, Board Member

    Mr. Fraz S. Siddiqui is a seasoned Data Analyst and technology professional with proven expertise in data analytics, visualization, and digital transformation across the healthcare, education, and telecommunications sectors. He currently serves as a Data Analyst at Altice USA, where he develops automated dashboards and data-driven reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

    Mr. Siddiqui’s technical skill set includes SQL, Tableau, Python, Microsoft Power BI, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Excel. His prior experience includes roles at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, Straight Line Source, and York College (CUNY), where he contributed to IT system development, data analysis, and end-user support across both academic and enterprise environments.

    He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from York College, City University of New York (CUNY), and has earned professional certifications in Data Analytics from Springboard and ETL Testing from Whizdom Training. Additionally, Mr. Siddiqui completed specialized training through the Resilience USA Foundation Academy, where he became certified as an instructor for continuing and adult education. In this role, he teaches adult learners foundational computer literacy and essential digital skills to support their academic, professional, and personal growth.

  • Anik Islam, Mental Health & Resilience Program & Community Support Drive Staff

    Anik Islam recently joined the Resilience USA Foundation Inc. as a staff member for the Mental Health & Resilience Program and Community Support Drive. Motivated to grow both personally and professionally, Anik brings a positive, resourceful, and innovative mindset to the organization. His academic background, hands-on healthcare experience, and community service make him a valuable contributor to the foundation’s mission.

    Anik holds a Bachelor of Science from York College, where he gained extensive experience in both patient care and IT support. His approach blends clinical knowledge with digital innovation, allowing him to enhance healthcare delivery through culturally competent, evidence-based practices. His analytical mindset and adaptability are shaped by a multidisciplinary foundation in healthcare and information technology.

    While working as a Medical Assistant at UMD Urgent Care, Anik was responsible for patient assessments, diagnostic procedures, and EHR documentation using Medgen EHR. His work demonstrated his ability to ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining quality patient care.

    Anik also brings a strong background in software development, with experience from Infosys and Hunter College. He has contributed to educational technology projects and is skilled in JavaScript frameworks. His tech expertise supports his mission to merge innovation with real-world user needs.

    Outside of his professional roles, Anik is deeply engaged in community service. As Founder and President of Students for Global Health and a speaker for the Undergraduate Student Government, he has consistently advocated for public health and student welfare. His volunteer work with the Infosys Volunteer Group reflects his commitment to civic responsibility and global health equity.

  • Lamiya Zaman, Event Coordinator & Support Staff

    Ms. Lamiya Zaman is a proactive and service-driven professional with a strong foundation in the sciences and a growing portfolio in community engagement. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from York College, City University of New York (CUNY), and aspires to build a career rooted in scientific advancement and public service.

    During her academic journey, Ms. Zaman served in the Department of Library Services through the Federal Work-Study program. In this capacity, she managed administrative tasks, supported faculty and students, and delivered high-quality technical and customer service to a diverse campus community. Her ability to navigate both operational responsibilities and interpersonal communication reflects a well-rounded skill set adaptable to many environments.

    Ms. Zaman has also contributed as a volunteer at Elmhurst Hospital Center, where she supported both the adult emergency room and pathology departments. These experiences not only enhanced her understanding of patient care and hospital operations but also reinforced her values of teamwork, empathy, and efficiency under pressure.

    Recently, Ms. Zaman joined the Resilience USA Foundation as an Event Coordinator and Support Staff member. Her focus is on expanding her professional capabilities while contributing meaningfully to the Foundation’s mission. She brings to the role a positive, resourceful, and innovative spirit—along with a deep commitment to service and social impact.

  • Michael Zhang, Mental Health & Resilience Program & Community Support Drive Staff

    Michael Zhang serves as a staff member of the Mental Health & Resilience Program and Community Support Drive at Resilience USA Foundation Inc. With a unique blend of military discipline, clinical expertise, and hands-on technical experience, Michael contributes a dynamic perspective to the foundation’s mission of building resilient and healthy communities.

    Michael brings over four years of service as a Medical Laboratory Specialist and Ancillary Team Leader in the United States Army, where he led critical diagnostic operations, including COVID-19 testing, and played a vital role in ensuring medical readiness. His leadership extended to overseeing a team of six personnel, ensuring operational effectiveness, training, and morale—demonstrating both accountability and compassion in high-pressure environments.

    Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science at York College, City University of New York, Michael also holds a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) Certification and an undergraduate certificate from George Washington University. These credentials, supported by real-world clinical and administrative experience, reflect his commitment to delivering excellence in healthcare.

    In addition to his clinical background, Michael developed robust technological skills through hands-on experience while working in technical support roles. At the York College Library IT Support Desk, he provided real-time troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network systems. These practical experiences have equipped him with the ability to bridge healthcare and technology—an increasingly valuable asset in today’s multidisciplinary service environments.

    Michael’s diverse experience—from military medicine to technical support—positions him as a resourceful and mission-driven professional.   • Umme Rifat Community Engagement & Administrative Support Assistant

    Umme Rifat is a dedicated Community Support & Volunteer Engagement Assistant at Resilience USA Foundation Inc., where she contributes to resource drives, educational programs, and community development initiatives across New York City’s five boroughs. With a strong academic foundation in accounting and a passion for service, Umme brings analytical precision and heartfelt commitment to every aspect of her volunteer work.

    Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at York College, City University of New York, Umme maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.8 and has been consistently recognized on the Dean’s List. Her academic strengths are complemented by real-world experience, including her role as an IRS-certified Volunteer Income Tax Assistant (VITA), where she prepared and filed returns for low- to moderate-income individuals, helping them navigate complex financial situations with clarity and care.

    Umme also worked as an IT Support Assistant at York College Library, where she provided essential technical support, managed equipment inventory, and introduced workflow improvements that were adopted by her department. These hands-on experiences strengthened her communication skills and her ability to manage both data and people effectively.

    Outside the classroom, Umme is an active member of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), engaging in career development and peer mentorship to promote diversity in the fields of business and accounting.     Director of Communications, Bangladesh

    A.N.M. Rashedul Islam serves as Director of Communications at the Resilience USA Foundation in Bangladesh, where he leads the organization’s strategic communication efforts. To effectively communicate the Foundation's mission and initiatives to a broad audience, he is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies.

    In addition to managing the Foundation's digital presence, he oversees media relations and ensures that the Foundation communicates consistently and transparently during crises.

    As a public relations expert and a committed member of the Foundation's leadership team, Mr. Islam plays a vital role in pushing the Foundation's mission forward and enhancing its visibility around the world.

  • Tamim Ahsan

    Manager of Media and Communication, Bangladesh

    Tamim Ahsan recently joined Resilience USA Foundation as Manager of Media and Communication, bringing extensive experience in media, journalism, and public engagement. His academic background and hands-on experience make him well-equipped to support the foundation’s mission of empowering communities, fostering resilience, and driving social awareness.

    Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (Honors) at the University of Dhaka, Mr. Ahsan has been an apprentice sub-editor at Khaborer Kagoj since June 2024. His work in news editing, content development, public speaking, and strategic communication has strengthened his ability to navigate media dynamics, audience engagement, and digital outreach effectively.

    A multilingual communicator, he speaks Bengali, English, and Arabic, enabling him to connect with diverse communities and promote cross-cultural understanding, a crucial aspect of the foundation’s global outreach. His expertise in digital media, crisis communication, and storytelling allows him to craft impactful narratives that drive engagement and awareness.     As the Administrative Assistant for the Resilience USA Foundation in Bangladesh, Mr. Mehedi Hasan Imran plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations of the organization's human resources and management functions. In addition to managing day-to-day office operations, he coordinates schedules and handles correspondence in order to maintain efficient workflows.

    He also provides administrative support to executives by drafting correspondence, preparing presentations, and organizing files. The role of Imran is pivotal in bridging the HR and management teams, contributing to the smooth functioning of the organization. Additionally, Imran ensures that technical issues are resolved promptly, and maintains accurate records to ensure confidentiality.
